How to wear armor

Armor is a traditional Japanese protective gear that has been passed down since ancient times. There are various types of armor depending on the era, but here we will introduce how to wear the basic armor that we make in our factory.

About repairs

In addition to repairing modern armor made in our factory, we also repair ancient armor (original and antique armor), and we receive a wide range of requests from shrines, temples, and museums across the country, as well as individual customers. Our craftsmen will do their best to repair ancestral armor that has been passed down for generations, and to cherish it as a family heirloom for many years to come.

Armor Exhibition Hall and Direct Store Information

At Marutake Armor Factory, we exhibit and sell (made to order) armor made in our factory at our main store (Kagoshima) and branch store (Tokyo).
We hope you will come and see the actual items on display and appreciate the beauty of the armor handcrafted by artisans.
In addition to ready-made products, we also accept inquiries regarding custom-made armor, costume production, and rental.
