This armor is an original Marutake design, created by the first armorer of our workshop, Mitsunin, around 1975, following a revival Edo period structure.

[Amulet and meaning]

●The meaning of the helmet lion (komainu) At the head of a shrine, a lion is placed on the right hand side and a lion on the left hand (over time, they have also come to be called koma-inu) and are meant to ward off evil spirits.

●The meaning of the character "zen" written on the chestThe character "zen" on the chest is the character before "rin (ward, soldier, fight, person, all, camp, fierce, in, in front)" and has the meaning of warding off evil.
