What makes this piece special

A powerful silhouette of branching antlers.

Tall wooden antlers rise on either side of the helmet. Their strong, branching shapes define the outline of this predominantly black Honda Tadakatsu suit. Enjoy their breadth from the front and their sculptural depth from an angle.

Golden prayer beads across a black cuirass.

Golden prayer beads drape across the cuirass, adding a vivid accent to the black armor. Large beads and red tassels create a memorable combination of colors, drawing the eye from the helmet down to the chest.

A fierce expression at the front of the helmet.

A wooden shikami ornament sits at the base of the antlers. Its sculpted eyes and mouth stand out against the black helmet behind it. Beyond the bold silhouette, its expression offers another detail to appreciate up close.
