What makes this piece special

A golden noshi-eboshi helmet reaching skyward.

Tall and distinctive, the helmet takes its shape from folded noshi decoration. Its washi paper covering and genuine gold-leaf finish define the image of Maeda Toshiie. Appreciate the slender outline from the front and the folded planes revealed at an angle.
(The helmet of this display piece is made of fiber-reinforced plastic, or FRP.)

A luminous combination of gold and white.

Genuine gold-leaf-covered scales are paired with pale unohana lacing on the cuirass and shoulder guards. White cords run between the golden surfaces, adding a sense of lightness to the ornate design. Enjoy its overall glow and the delicate ties visible up close.

Yak hair softening the helmet's outline.

Yak hair at the back of the helmet adds softness to the golden armor. The contrast between the helmet's firm contours and the fine strands is part of this suit's appeal, offering details to enjoy from the side and rear.
