Shimazu Yoshihiro (1535-1619) was one of the most prominent military commanders of the Sengoku period, having participated in 52 battles in his lifetime and achieving numerous military feats.
Born as the second son of the 15th head of the Shimazu family, Takahisa, he followed his father and older brother Yoshihisa and was mainly in charge of military affairs.
He participated in the unification of the three provinces, the conquest of Kyushu, the Korean War, the Battle of Sekigahara, and other battles, always leading on the front lines of the battlefield.
He was a central figure in supporting the expansion of the Shimazu clan's power.
Designated as a traditional craft of Kagoshima Prefecture.

A name plate is a wooden board measuring 23 cm in length, 12 cm in width and 2 cm in thickness with the name of the armor written on it, as shown in the 16th sample image, and is meant to be placed next to armor or helmets when they are displayed.
We will usually clearly state the name of the armor and helmet and the name of the factory that made it, but we can also engrave your child's birthday and name for an additional fee, so please let us know if you would like this done.

●Nameplate engraving option: If you purchase a complete set of children's armor, a nameplate will be included.
(You can add your birthday or name for an additional 2,000 yen (excluding tax))

If you purchase only the helmet, the nameplate will not be included.
(Nameplates can be purchased for an additional 3,300 yen (excluding tax).
*Birthday and name engraving will cost an additional 2,000 yen, making the total 5,000 yen.
