What makes this piece special

A white hood defining the image of Otani Yoshitsugu.

A white hood crowns predominantly black armor. The clear contrast creates the distinctive presence of this suit. Look closely to appreciate the folds of the hood and the softness of its fabric.

Layers of black with rich surface detail.

Black iyo-zane scales and black lacing form the cuirass and shoulder guards. Within the single color, the scale surfaces and woven cords reveal different textures. Follow the shadows between the rows to discover the details of this restrained design.
