What makes this piece special

A Radiant Fan of Gold Leaf

A broad baren rear crest fans out behind the helmet, finished in genuine gold leaf. Its slender radiating elements give the armor an expansive, luminous silhouette, even when viewed from behind.

The Glossy Curves of the Tokanmuri Helmet

The Tokanmuri helmet pairs an unusual raised form with a smooth black-lacquered surface. Gold-toned edging and the rear crest bring its carefully shaped outline into sharp relief.

Five Tiers of Vivid Red Lacing

Red lacing runs across five tiers of black-lacquered plates in the rounded shoulder guard. Repeated rows of cords and the shadows between the plates add rich detail beneath the dramatic helmet.
