What makes this piece special

A flowing peach-shaped helmet finished in silver leaf.

The momonari helmet rises to a distinctive crown, its flowing silhouette finished with genuine silver leaf. Its outline changes between front and side views, while shifting light reveals new aspects of the surface. The design brings a foreign-inspired character to Japanese armor.

Curves and patterns across a nanban cuirass.

Fine patterns spread across the gentle curves of the Western-influenced nanban cuirass. As light moves over the genuine silver-leaf surface, different details come into view. Enjoy both the overall silhouette and the decoration revealed up close.

Elegant layers of silver and deep navy.

The shoulder guards and skirt plates combine hon-kozane scales covered in genuine silver leaf with deep navy lacing. Dark cords define the silver surfaces, bringing a restrained rhythm to the overlapping rows. Their contrasting texture alongside the cuirass is another detail to enjoy.
